Can you feel it?!!

Are you feeling the energy from our latest new moon and lunar eclipse? It is really intense!

My own physical body is really taking a hit. I have felt it building for about the last week or so. If I’m feeling it, I know I can’t be the only one!

Some of the symptoms you might be experiencing include: an overall anxiousness; a tightness or heaviness in your chest; a sensation that you can’t get enough air into your lungs; difficulty focusing or concentrating; the urge to just get up and move because you can’t sit still; feeling like you’re being bombarded with a lot of information or opportunities; or a lot of energy or momentum in your life or business, as if you’re about to be shot out of canon but not quite knowing where you’re going to land! It’s all a little unsettling!

Here are some tips to help you manage your energy through this time:

  1. BREATHE! By that I mean be very conscious of your breath. Check in with yourself periodically with brief intermissions to breathe in deeply for three or more breaths. Notice if you feel the tension release as you do that. If you still notice some residual tension, repeat!
  2. Hydrate. Flood your body with extra fluids right now to support it in adapting to the magnetic pull we are all feeling.
  3. Get moving! Walk, jog, stretch or do some yoga – anything to move the energy in your body to support it.
  4. Honor yourself with some quiet time either through meditation or just listening to music or staring out into the horizon. Your body and spirit need time to just be still. As little as 15 minutes can have a huge benefit.
  5. Do something that’s out of your norm; something that is either nurturing or creative. Take a timeout to do something that allows you to feel more connected and grounded, whatever that is for you.
